Overview of Learning Design

Some of my learning design projects involve creating innovative digital learning solutions that enhance engagement and educational outcomes. My expertise includes designing interactive platforms, such as DiscoVFact for Fake News literacy, and developing comprehensive frameworks for at-risk populations, like the mobile-based mentoring project for girls in Nigeria. I also integrate gamification into learning experiences, exemplified by Gamywrite, which motivates students through rewards and visual progress tracking. My work leverages technology to provide effective, inclusive, and motivating learning environments.

Gamywrite

Gamywrite was created with Articulate Storyline to support graduate students participating in a 14-day writing challenge. The aim is to keep them motivated by integrating gamification into their writing journey. Throughout the challenge, students earn stars and points by completing daily writing tasks. At the end of the challenge, those who have accumulated the most stars and points receive prizes. This gamified approach provides visual feedback on their progress, helping them to remain dedicated and consistent in their writing efforts.

Leveraging mobile technology, I delivered immediate academic assistance and counsel. My guidance further extended to bolstering postsecondary admission rates and enhancing job prospects, ensuring a brighter future for the girl-child.
