Overview of My Research Work

My research focus spans across various dimensions of educational technology and learning sciences. Part of my work is dedicated to understanding and supporting the integration of computational thinking skills across different educational levels, with a special emphasis on historically underrepresented youth.

My work delves into leveraging online collaborative technologies for mentoring and assessing, as well as using mobile learning to open up access to quality education and training opportunities in Africa.

CT-STEM Pop-ups4All: An RPP for Agile Learning [National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant].

The goal of CT-STEM PopUps4All is to increase participation in STEM curriculum, particularly among rural and special education elementary school populations. This project facilitates and leverages research-practitioner partnerships (RPPs) to co-create data science curriculum for elementary schools that can be customized based on the context and needs of the school community.
